Spectrum's President, Scott Bowles, P.E., was a presenter at a Staking workshop sponsored by the Indiana Municipal Electric Association (IMEA). Bringing 30 years of experience in line design and staking to workshop attendees, he discussed the various types of conductors and their characteristics, NESC and RUS standards on conductors and clearances, understanding the loading requirements: mechanical and electrical, common conductor applications and distribution line protection philosophy.
