While Scott leads the company as President and majority stockholder, he stays in direct contact with our clients by providing engineering, project management, and business consulting services for both the power engineering and telecommunications industries.
Scott, along with Craig Trowbridge and David Bowles (Founder) patented SCADA-related system, Utility Management Sentinel.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in more than 15 states.
Scott graduated magna cum laude with a BSEE with minors in Mathematics and several other engineering disciplines, and an MBA with a concentration in Strategic Planning from Indiana University.

Rod is responsible for assisting with setting strategic goals, managing staff, and overall daily operations. He manages budgets, procedures, and the review of partner and vendor agreements.
Rod is also heavily involved in managing day-to-day telecommunications business needs, and ensuring that project deliverables are met.
He holds a BA in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
Engineering Design Technician/Coordinator
Dan joined our team after years of experience as operations manager of a successful food manufacturing business. Dan contributes a very strong and hands-on mechanical and electrical background to clients.
He is a key member of management and currently oversees coordination of all power electric-related projects ensuring clients receive deliverables that are on time and within budget.
Dan also directs our Engineering Design Technician team for successful substation equipment upgrades, preventative maintenance, and testing.
He is a Certified Diesel Mechanic and has completed electronic and mechanical engineering classes.
Corporate Accountant and CFO
Serving the financial needs of Spectrum Engineering Corporation for over 20 years, Kara provides dedicated detail-oriented support, managing and overseeing all areas of financial data necessary to support Spectrum’s financial decisions and internal controls.
Kara holds a BS in Business Accounting from Indiana University Fort Wayne and has passed the CPA exam in Indiana.

Mark Christiansen, P.E.

and Principal Engineer
Mark joined the team in 1987 and has a wide range of responsibilities including technical oversight of the engineering staff. Mark continues to solve complex engineering problems for our clients and still enjoys getting out in the field.
Mark also oversees project quality and is still involved in design for transmission and distribution line and substation construction.
He holds a BSET degree from Purdue University.
Mark is a registered Professional Engineer in Indiana and Ohio.
Bryan Reece, P.E.
& Project Manager
Bryan has been on the team for more than 20 years, developing power system studies as well as the engineering design of distribution and substation projects.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.
Bryan holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue Fort Wayne.
Craig Trowbridge, P.E., RCDD
Information Systems Engineer
& Project Manager
Craig is the Lead Engineer on SCADA and AMI projects and has significant involvement in the engineering design of green power interconnects, and other highly process-driven projects.
He was instrumental in co-developing an enhanced SCADA system called Utility Management Sentinel (UMS), which has the ability to communicate with and leverage data from a multitude of sources.
Craig is a Project Manager with professional experience in specification development, design, testing, and software implementation for industrial controls.
He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana.
Craig holds a BSEE degree from Trine University, a BS degree in Computer Science from Indiana University, BICSI certifications, and other designations related to his field.
Steve Myers, P.E.
Electrical Engineer II
Steve performs engineering design of substations and relay protection and control on many projects. He also takes a lead role in engineering planning efforts for investor-owned utilities.
Steve is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana.
He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue Fort Wayne and a minor in Mathematics.
